RCB Bank takes 2nd and 3rd in the Relay

...Relay For Life that is!

The American Cancer Society Relay For Life is a life-changing event that gives everyone in communities across the globe a chance to celebrate the lives of people who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost, and fight back against the disease. At Relay, teams took turns walking or running around the path at the Claremore Expo. Each team is asked to have a representative on the track at all times during the event. Because cancer never sleeps, Relays are overnight events up to 24 hours in length.

This year's event was a sucess!  Business and individuals throughout Rogers County came out to show support for those battling or lost loved ones to cancer.  The RCB Bank branches in Catoosa and Claremore challenged Claremore Regional Hospital to see who could raise the most money for the event.  It was a photo finish but Claremore Regional won by a fingertip with $4,562.  RCB Bank Catoosa came in second with $4,427 raised.  RCB Bank Claremore raised $4,167 and came in a close third.

Honorable mentions were First United Methodist Church's Wesley Warriors with $3,299, Rogers County Employees with $2,687, and Wilma's Angels with $2,192.

All joking aside, everyone did a great job working together to raise money for this worthy cause.  Thank you to all those envolved.
