RCB Bank enters agreement with First Fidelity Bank to assume Arizona deposits

CLAREMORE, OK – RCB Bank has reached an agreement with First Fidelity Bank, N.A., to assume the former Home National Bank’s deposits in Arizona. RCB assumed all of Home National Bank’s deposits in Oklahoma, Arizona and Kansas on July 9th.  The agreement with First Fidelity includes only the Arizona deposits.

“We are very happy to announce this agreement with First Fidelity,” said Roger Mosier, RCB Bank President and CEO.  “Customer service and home-town banking is what drives our bank and because our footing is primarily in the Midwest, we determined that a local financial firm would be a much better fit for the former Home National branches in Arizona.”

First Fidelity has a strong commitment to the Arizona marketplace, and with four branches in the state, has experience in serving the Phoenix and Scottsdale markets.  With the approval of the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, the assumption will take place within the next 90 days.

First Fidelity Bank, N.A., a nationally chartered bank established in 1920, is a family-owned, privately held full-service financial institution. Celebrating its 90th anniversary in 2010, the bank has grown to 28 offices serving the Oklahoma City, Tulsa, Phoenix and Scottsdale metro markets.

During this transition period, former Home National Bank customers can continue banking with RCB Bank, just as they did with Home National.  Home National Bank accounts were automatically transferred to RCB Bank.  Deposits are safe, sound and readily accessible.

“We want to assure our customers at our Arizona branches that your deposits are safe and secure,” said Mosier.  “We are committed to making the transition to First Fidelity as seamless as possible.”

Arizona customers with questions can call 877-811-4663 with any questions.

“Our purchase of Home National Bank means a commitment to the communities where those branches are located,” said Mosier.  “Bartlesville, Stillwater, Shidler, Blackwell, Ponca City, Arkansas City and Winfield are now a part of the RCB Bank family and we intend to move in and support those branches and those communities just as we do our others.  The agreement with First Fidelity gives us more resources to commit to Oklahoma and Kansas.”

When the transition with First Fidelity is completed, RCB Bank will have 31 branches located in Oklahoma and Kansas.
