Daughter Donates Her Father's Military Flag to RCB Bank

CLAREMORE, OK June 16, 2010 -Thomas L. Livingston was a regular around RCB Bank.  Sadly, he passed away in 2005 and is sorely missed.  “I donated Daddy’s military flag to RCB Bank because he banked there for many years, visited, and drank coffee with everyone,” said his daughter Mary McLane, of Claremore.  The President of RCB Bank Claremore, Tim Cutsinger, was there to accept the gift from the family.  “We are honored to fly his military flag here at RCB Bank, “said Cutsinger.

Two of Mr. Livingston’s grandsons were able to make it to the flag ceremony.  Billy and Tommy McLane have fond memories of their grandfather.   “Little Tommy” remembers being ornery and getting chased home with a buggy whip.  Billy remembers going to town with his grandfather.  He would ask him, “Have you got your keys, check book, teeth, etc?”

Myrtle Prather, Vice President of Business Development, and Bobbye Walker, Investment Counselor, were also in attendance.  Myrtle and Bobbye had fond memories of Mr. Livingston, as well.  Myrtle remembers what a cheerful person he was.  “He would come in early in the morning for coffee” recalls Prather.  “He always had something uplifting and positive to say” said Bobbye.  They both concurred that he loved his friends at the bank.

His daughter Mary says that if she could tell her father anything it would be:  “I love you and miss you, Daddy!”  He will be missed from his RCB family too.
