Broken Arrow Public School Foundation Golf Tourney

The ninth annual BAPS Foundation Educational Grant Awards Benefit Golf Tournament presented by Saint Francis Hospital South is set for Aug. 6 at Forest Ridge Golf Club. Shotgun start is 1 p.m.

The foundation was able to award nearly $25,000 in grants and other support to Broken Arrow teachers after last year’s successful tournament.

“The response so far from sponsors and the community at large has been terrific for this event,” President of Broken Arrow RCB Bank and BAPS Foundation President Skip Mefford said. “We are extremely thankful that Saint Francis Hospital South will be presenting sponsor.”

Golfers will have the opportunity to win many prizes, including a new truck from Kevin Grover GMC and a diamond from Moody’s Jewelry.

Lunch will be provided thanks to silver sponsors including RCB Bank Broken Arrow.

Golfers will receive a golf shirt thanks to silver sponsor Midwest Sporting Goods.

On-course beverages will be provided by silver sponsors American Fidelity Assurance Company and Great Plains Coca-Cola.

“This is an exciting event because it’s a fun way for the community and area businesses to show their support for our Broken Arrow teachers,” BAPS Foundation Vice President Steve Allen said.

Registration brochures can be downloaded from www.baschools.org through the “BAPS Foundation” link. Additional information may be obtained by contacting BAPS Chief Communications Officer Keith Isbell at 259-5726 or by e-mail at kdisbell@baschools.org.
