The Earnings Credit will only reduce account charges and is calculated by applying an external index rate (maximum of 5%) to the average collected balance after subtracting reserve requirements for the month. We use the rate for the 13-week Treasury Bill as the index. An additional fee will be charged when the average collected balance is negative. This fee is determined based on the Fed Funds Rate plus 4%.
